This is the core guiding motto of the Be Season of Connection, an initiative designed to reduce chronic loneliness by inviting Las Vegas residents into shared acts of hands-on creativity. Presented by Manifest Dreams 501c3 in partnership with Downtown Beat Collective (DBC), this year’s cornerstone event brings our community together around a spectacular, living focal point of hope and togetherness.
A Thirty-Foot Living Tree as Our Seasonal Centerpiece
The heart of our gathering is a massive, thirty-foot living holiday tree that will be professionally installed in the Arts District, serving as a vibrant beacon of community spirit. Rather than being cut down and discarded when the season ends, this living tree will be permanently planted in a local city park with a commemorative plaque, ensuring it continues to grow alongside our neighborhood for generations to come.
The Hero Ornaments Representing Our Vulnerable Neighbors
The upper branches of the holiday tree will shine with large, beautiful, shatterproof “Hero Ornaments” created during collaborative workshops by local children and adults from vulnerable populations. This special program honors and celebrates the inherent dignity of individuals in extended hospital care, youth in foster custody, and neighbors experiencing homelessness, placing their artistic expressions at the very top of our collective display.
